Hey guys, So a little back story.. I quit my job driving a truck in November, and focused on loosing weight. I'm down about 70lbs since November and I'm working on getting my med card back. I had a Class A CDL

My license was downgraded in march to a regular license, and the DOT doctor says that this time around that I'll be good to go get a med card back.

Anyways where it started was Friday I was heading back to the shore with my g/f (she lives in PA and I picked her up), we were heading down 322 which is a 55 zone, and I was traveling with three other cars, one quickly pulled off to the side and then I saw the cop. I looked at my speed and saw that it said I was doing 70. the state trooper claimed I was doing 77 in a 55. When I handed him the license he asked if I still drove truck, and I explained to him the cars, and my license/med card situation.

He dropped it to 65/55 and said to just pay it online.

I'm unsure if I should try to talk to the DA about dropping it to something else, or if I should get my license upgraded again and then go to the courthouse.

->Do you think that a single speeding ticket for 65/55 will hamper employment especially with hazmat? I used to haul hazmat all the time.

->Currently I'm working on a side job till i get my card back. But I like having it as an option.
