I'm only 15 and typing on mobile so bear with me.
My parents are divorced and have been for about 3-4 years.
My sister and I no longer wish to go to my fathers house on a schedule agreed upon through court order years ago. I am 15 almost 16 and my sister is 13. My mother has filed for full custody and my father has reciporicated.
A Guardian ad lite has been assigned and we have met with them at my mother's house, and were supposed to meet with them last Friday. However my father had not made us aware of the GAL's visit until after it was over, citing we should have been there anyway as per the agreement. For the past couple months it has been common practice for my sister and I to not comply with our mother in making us go to our father's house, and we have only gone voluntarily every other weekend and when my mother goes away for buisiness. My father knows this and knew it leading up to last Friday. I would like to make it very clear that nobody had the slightest clue the GAL's visit to my father's was on Friday.
Throughout the ensuing arguements that have occurred within the time we have been at my Fathers (this weekend is one of those every other weekends) my father has implied that he can stop me from driving somehow. I am 15 and 9 months now, and will be taking Drivers Ed and testing for my learners permit next month.
So my question is: Will my father be able to inhibit my driving if I don't comply with the court ordered schedule?
