I was sexuall assaulted, guy admitted and was arrested, the the case dropped with prejudice.
Post Body

I am a 17 year old girl but was 15 when this happened. I was dating a guy for two weeks when he sexually assaulted me on the school bus. I broke up with him and four mouths after the incident I got text message evidence of him admitting to the and reported it to my parents in December of 2016. April of 2017 he was arrested and admitted to the crime. In May of 2017 I got a letter from the court saying all charges were dropped with prejudice without explaining why. I still had to go to school with him for a year, despite him being arrested and me telling the school what happened. According to their handbook it says if you are arrested at all you can be expelled. My father said he tried contacting the prosecutor to ask what happened and the court but no one replied to his various emails and voicemails. I believe my father dropped it because he thought the rape was my fault and he didn’t want to deal with it. I don’t know how to get the information on the case and why it was dropped or to see if it was my father who dropped it. I don’t know what to do and I need closure. It sickens me because he admitted to what he did but because he was a juvenile his record will be exsponged and no one except me and my family will know of his crimes.
