Demanding a Living Will to procede with a divorce

Post Body

My parents are separated for 3 years and now they’re considering divorce. The thing is that my mom wants my dad to give her a Living will that states that all possessions of my dad would be given to his kids in case of him dying. In order to her agree with the divorce. They have a document stating that all the possessions that they have wouldn’t be divided in half in case of a divorce. (Note that this document was 2 1/2 years ago)

Something doesn’t sounds right about this and I don’t know if it’s legal to “force” someone to give a living will in this type of cases.

The questions are:

Is that even legal? How can the living will affect my dad if she has the document? Is he even forced to do it in first place?
