The truck is with his S.O. in Texas and I’m up in Minnesota. I don’t want the truck and I’m just trying to get it transferred to her but she/we don’t have the title. I’m pretty new to all this so I’m just a bit lost. I’ve filled out VTR-262 (Affidavit of Heirship for a Motor Vehicle) but the documentation says a 130-U (Application for Texas Title and/or Registration) is also needed to do a title transfer. I’m wondering if the 130-U is something I’d fill out or if she would? Also, working across state lines isn’t helping matters. Sorry, I know that’s a lot. Any advice would be very much appreciated.
