Hey guys,

I want to thank everyone for their input, especially /u/Rob_Swanson. We hired a lawyer, and drafted up a new custody order, and filed a case to terminate Biodad's parental rights (so far we have had 4 phone calls from him in the past 2 years). The child in question has told both the police, and lawyer he does not want contact with his Biodad, and would like to be adopted by me :). We are set to see a judge in the near future to begin this long and arduous process, and I just wanted to thank this sub for all of the great advice that was shared with me.
