I live in Kentucky. My father died early last month. I was promised that my father had taken care of us "generously', "comfortably'. She seems quite well off since my dad's unfortunate demise. I haven't received a penny. His deed is in his name, three acres and a home. I cannot locate nor do I seem to have access to life insurance policies, money, or anything. All she has told me is that "these things take time", but I feel blocked, lied to, and upset. She cremated him. No official funeral. No obituary. A memorial was held, but other than that, I feel she's running off with everything. The will is not in probate. No record of it. I found a possible copy at a lawyers office and he wouldn't let me see it. I'm in grief and in the dark. Please, some advice...
