Background:
- I screwed up 8 years ago as a teenager
- charged delivery of a control substance in a car (weed) (Grade:F)
- I was NOT CONVICTED but placed as an adjudicated delinquent.
Results:
- probation and got off early on good behavior (6 months)
- rehabilitated with ARD.
- licenses suspended for 6 months.
Continued:
- 18 my record was sealed
- 22 my record was expunged. (currently 23)
In those 8 years nothing has happened since.
My record:
Does not show up Background checks:
- Federal

- drivers license record. CLICK THIS .
Situation I have been enrolled into an RN program for three years.
The facility im doing my final clinical at before I graduate is lets call it CHC. The situation is they are asking for background checks before we begin. The kicker is they are asking for my DL number. Application is here Also read this document too please very short here
First off I currently work at a CHC facility but not the one for my clinical. They had no problem but I told them about it because it shows up on DMV but this job is only an AIDE job. I also have had worked at 10 clinical sites only one being CHC and I was never a problem at any of those sites.
My lawyer I saw:
The lawyer I saw said (and I have it in writing) that I was not convicted but adjudicated delinquent. Giving me in the ability to take the NCLEX (the boards.)
What should I do My school makes us go through background checks every year so that facilitys can use that and save money. But this one is asking for another background check so maybe bluffing?
Should I be upfront before or after I hand in my documentation or when they could possibly find it?
Should I say I have all documentation of my expugment and my ARD rehabilitation too. Could I also say I was not convicted and it was an adjudicated charge? Should I bring up the documents my lawyer gave me as well?
Sorry for the long discussion but just want to get the last 4 months over so my last 3 years arent useless.
