Car was hit by two hit and run drivers in a couple days
Post Body

So, it’s my girlfriends car, and the first incidents claim is in progress. We were having a party at my house and we’re all in the yard hanging out, when all of a sudden some moron pulls in my driveway doing 40mph and hits my friends truck, sending it into my girlfriends car. The guy hit another lady who was following him, and I think he thought my driveway was a back road since it’s dark and pretty long. When we started running up the yard, he put it in reverse and hauled ass. The lady he previously hit stayed behind because she had the plates, so we called the cops, got the report, and started the insurance claims and sent pictures.

Fast forward three days, my girlfriend was on the way to the store when someone sideswiped her on the highway and ran. She called me freaking out, because she doesn’t think the insurance will believe her because what are the odds? The first claim hasn’t been resolved yet, but she has an appointment to have her car looked at on Friday. What advice can you give us, or what problems might we run into with the insurance company? Are we worrying for nothing? I told her to take pictures, call the cops, and call her insurance ASAP. Her car is an 07’ Elantra she bought for $7,000 and she says it’s still driveable, just ripped her mirror off and messed up her doors. I would drive down there, but my car is out of commission since Friday!
