[Ga] So my ex roommate, also ex gf, is suing me for two months rent plus early termination fee. We go into an argument before I moved out and I ended up throwing her phone and damaging it and she hit me in the face. We both arrested. I decided not to press charges but she is so until my case is settled I could not contact her. Since we lived together I had to move out an I had nowhere else to go with my dog so I had to stay at a friends place for a week until I found a place. Obviously I needed money to find a new place so I couldn't pay rent at my last place. Now she is suing me for $1500. But here's the thing, there was one month I paid the entire rent ($1080) myself online and was never paid back. I just need some kind of advise on what I can do.
