Post Body

Hi r/Legaladvice. I need some help deciding what I should attempt to do. About seven years ago I had a surgery to "correct" my scoliosis. Or whatever the surgeon promised. However he had removed a vital part in order to make things "better" 6 months later in worse then I was previously. He entered the room and sighed. And then turned to the corner of the room. He mumbled "I think I made a mistake." Put his arm around me and repeated it. Seven years later I'm in a much worse place. He "promised" to give me a consultation with a fellow and never did. Even after reminding him several times. Do I have the basis to sue? Or maybe it's been too long? Edit: I live in NY. The surgeon was in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
