So, like the title says, my friend bought a used Jeep from a large dealership over in Minnesota a couple weeks ago. She recently decided to check the Carfax on the vehicle (not sure why she didn't do this before the purchase), because she has had several problems with the vehicle in the short time she has owned it. From the Carfax she learned that the odometer had been set back 60,000 miles by someone who owned the vehicle before the dealership. When she was buying the vehicle there was no mention made of this by the dealer and they were advertising the vehicle using the incorrect mileage shown on the odometer. Since she has had several issues with the vehicle since she purchased it, and the dealership has not been good about taking care of even the problems covered by her warranty, she is hoping to just return the vehicle and get her money back. Since reddit has never let me down before I told her I would see what I could find out. I'm just wondering if anyone knows what her legal options might be in this situation. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! :D
