[CA, USA] Streaming and Two-Party Consent?
Author Summary

Post Body

In California, I can't record phone calls and other conversations without everyone's consent? But, what if I add one or more people to the conversation (say by secretly conferencing them in on a phone call, or using a concealed phone on speakerphone, or secretly streaming my life on Twitch)? Do I need the consent of the "main" parties to the conversation to expand the conversation to include 1000 of my closest Internet friends?

If someone I add to the conversation in this way starts illegally recording it (say they intercept my concealed cordless phone or rip my Twitch stream), am I responsible for that, or would the unauthorized recording be their problem?
