DUI after "failed" HGN. Refused breathalyzer. What are my options?
Post Body
Hi r/legaladvice, I was arrested for a first offense DUI under 0.10% in the state of South Carolina. I ran my car off the road and hit a tree. My dad came and met me and we called the police. The officer administered a horizontal gaze nystagmus and placed me under arrest. When we got the the jail I refused a breath test. Was that the right thing do do? I will be consulting a local attorney on Tuesday. What is some of you guys' experience defending this type of case.
Thanks
