[MA] Role of real estate nominee trust?
Author Summary

Post Body

I'm seeing three trusts: two typical living trusts, one for husband and one for wife, but also a third trust titled as a "nominee trust" to hold their home.

I understand why it wouldn't go into either of the living trusts, but why bother with the nominee trust at all? What does it buy over simply leaving it as tenants by the entirety? Is it as simple as keeping it out of probate, or is there more to it?
