After 2 months of living in my apartment, requests to have mold tests, and one apartment flood later. I believe I have identified mold in my walls (Austin, TX)
Post Body

I've been asking property management to perform tests on my apartment for the past 2 months. I was continually feeling dry mouth, dizziness, fatigue, runny noses, and in some cases skin rashes.

A severe rainstorm hit Austin ,TX and I had major flooding in my apartment, while I was away for the weekend. Management left standing water in my apartment for 3 days while I was away. The design of the complex pretty much leaves a trench in from of my door for rainwater. In addition, my front door had a gap to the molding that wasn't fixed after 3 requests to maintenance over 2 months (I have proof of submission). Moisture levels on the lower parts of my walls were at 80%. So I decided to investigate for myself.

I cut open a part of the drywall and found what I believe is mold residing in my wall (you be the judge). Do I have a legitimate case of breaking my lease? Can I bring in a personal injury lawyer for the mold exposure and sickness I've been feeling? Here are the pictures of the mold....

Thanks in advance! Any advice helps!
