Location: Indiana and company HQ in Tennessee I have been working at this company for 2.5yrs and have been shuffled around from dept to dept but I wanted a job and did what I was asked. These are data and/or finance positions. One month ago I was ‘asked’ to move to finance and I ended up working for someone who had a rep for running women off. He was aggressive, rude, micromanaging and just created a hostile environment. I went to HR and told her I wanted to speak about it to have it documented. We talked and she noted all the dates and times and things he said Then yesterday I get a call from HR and they said I violated their cyber policy for downloading a software I wasnt supposed to. No other reason. Just I show form the cyber sweep that I have my calendar blocked off for large chunks and I am using something to keep my computer awake. That isn’t true. I showed them my calendar for this week and nothing is blocked off. And keeping my computer awake was because I run large SQL queries and if my computer goes to sleep then the connection is lost. They said it is no tolerance company policy and I was terminated immediately. I think it is because I filed a claim against my boss. Is there anything I can do about this?? Thanks
