(I understand not everyone may agree with me wanting this; I apologize, I am just hoping to get an answer)
I am a trans man. I have completely changed my name legally, and this is the last thing I need to change gender-wise. I have my sex marker updated on my passport, my social security record and my South Carolina (where I currently live) driver's license. I also have a notarized letter from my healthcare provider stating that I have made irreversible changes to my sex.
I have seen a lot of conflicting information regarding this when I research it, and my current worry is that if I attempt to update with the vague details I have found, my current documents will be confiscated.
So I ask, is this possible or worth the risk?
