Bought used truck - got screwed.
Post Body

Posting anon because honestly, I’m embarrassed.

My husband bought a truck a month and some change ago, he inspected and it and it all look pretty decent. Flash foward into a week of owning it, it’s leaking oil all over our driveway. We sent it back to the dealership to get it fixed, we were out of another vehicle for about a week that was happening. Flash forward it’s back in our drive way, and boom, leaking oil even worse. We take it to a shop here to get a written report of everything that’s wrong with it, and turns out the “mechanics” at the shop that we sent it back to, have no f*cking clue what they’re doing. Left sensor wires hanging down on the transmission, put multiple copper washers on the injectors they “fixed.”, and more. My husband’s a mechanic by trade but he doesn’t want to buy a truck that is supposed to be solid to work on it as well as working on vehicles for his lively hood, this is really just upsetting us. We try calling the dealership we bought it from and they will answer and IMMEDIATELY put on us hold for minutes, hours if we would let them but after awhile we get tired of waiting. They are now refusing to answer any phone calls from us. We believe they were hiding all this information and practiced fraud when we purchased this truck. Now I know we bought a used vehicle and we buy it “as is” but my husband looked this thing over really good and saw nothing intill we saw oil on our concrete when we got back with it.

Now another issue we bought this truck in Georgia and we don’t know the laws there but I’m so pissed off. I plan on reporting them to the BB, google reviews coming from me, him, and anyone who can help (even if they argue against google saying that didn’t receive service, but it’ll get their attention, because they’ve seen first hand how bad this situation is.)

I guess my question is, how do we fight this legally and bring it to attention and get some of our money back because this truck is NOT worth what we paid. This place is terrible and the guys that work there seemed so nice but god, they’re just a bunch of sleeze bags it turns out.
