So I am talking to this girl and I am unsure how to protect myself.... I am fairly okay with my own house( still paying mortgage though) and job. some money saved in other investments....this girl is 6 years younger than me and is job less and dependent on Obama care and food stamps. she is paying rent with the help of her father. we met through a housing situation, she is renting a room at my friends place. she doesn't work has a drug abuse issue. but says she is clean for some time now. and looking for job. we are planning to stay together for a while and see if she can walk the talk or she is just BS`ing... but in this case how do I protect myself ? I read some where that if the partner is going to depend on social services alimony can be thrown out.
