Long, drawn out probation and violations. But making progress
Post Body

5 years ago I snapped and committed a couple burglaries. Drug related. Nobody was hurt. I was in a bad mental state and self medicating and went too far. I lost everything. Hit bottom. And through the last couple years I've been working tirelessly to get better. Several inpatient rehab stays, mental hospital stays, and now aggressive outpatient treatment which is going very well lately. My probation has been extended several times due to me not being able to pay the $8k restitution. I've been pursuing a disability case since this all began. Once I get approved, back pay will be able to cover restitution and this can finally be over. But there have been some bumps in the road that they are not happy about. I've struggled with sobriety this whole time, but have been doing very good for the past 3 months. I'm really scared that they've had enough and might want to throw me in jail. But I'm really starting to make good progress now and I will do anything to make things right. Any advice?
