FL absconder of community control needing advice!
Post Body

I need some suggestions on what to do as I’m in a very tough spot . I understand that this is all my fault nd I accept responsibility for whatever course of action ends up happening but I’m trying to spend the least amount of jail/prison time away from my 4 year old daughter as possible .

So basically I live in Georgia and while in Tampa I got a felony hit and run DUI for which I was sentenced to 2 years community control. Part of the terms were that it had to be carried out at the sober living facility that I was living in while out on bond . I did 9 months of said community control with no issues whatsoever . (Should’ve been able to request early termination at 1 year which would’ve only been 3 more months I know I’m retarded asf FML!!😂) I then found out my wife was cheating on me (she was still living in Georgia ) and I had a mental episode and got in my truck and drove to my house in Georgia because I thought it was my last chance to save my marriage (didn’t work out anyways .. shocker! 😂) .

My warrant was issued a little over a year ago . Should I write a letter to the judge . Should I hire a lawyer before or after I turn myself in? Is there a possibility to hire a lawyer that can request and appear to a court date without me turning myself in first ? What’re my options here I’m desperately needing to turn my life around ?
