I (21F) have been an artist my whole life and recently began selling it on Etsy. I mostly provide portraits of deceased family pets that I paint based off of photos. My work can take months to do, especially if it’s a big canvas, and I put so much love into them. I also sign them with my signature, if that’s important.
Yesterday I was scrolling on Etsy and I found a chinese company that has been using my artwork (which I think they sourced from my instagram) and putting them on mugs. Is there anything that I can do? I’m not looking for money, I just don’t want my hard and deeply loved work to be put on a $5 mug by a stranger. Especially since my artwork is of family pets. Imagine seeing your dead dog on a mug :(
