Wage garnishment question
Post Body

Completed garnishment with ADP in 2022, now theyโ€™re back

Fulfilled completed a wage garnishment for a creditor (Midland) in 2022. Received a letter of completion that the debt was paid off. Fast forward to December 2024, received an email notice from ADP, stating they would be garnishing $392 from my payroll. Question - if a wage garnishment is marked as completed, how can they legally garnish more money? My concern is will this continue to happen over the years to come, will I get random notices that they are pulling money from my payroll without explanation? If a debt is marked completed I thought that was the end of it, am I wrong?
