I don’t know what category this would fall under. My partner is 20 and lives with parents that restrict anything from driving, walking, friends, phone calls, relationships, posting, - and my partner has mentioned multiple times that they beat and emotionally manipulate them as well.

I ran through a list of options with them:

Is there any potential jobs that have in person housing? Answer: Not in the small town they live in.

Is there anyone you can stay with? Answer: I couldn’t keep or have friends due to my parents.

Do you want to try raising money (Through Go Fund me, etc.) by doing arts and crafts/hobbies/something for views? Answer: I can’t post anything or have enough materials- then proceeds to mention how they got yelled at for trying to order groceries since no one would let them drive.

I don’t know how to handle legal stuff in Pennsylvania (we’re long distance) and plus I can’t exactly move them into my place cause I’m 18 and still live my parents.

Yesterday they had a panic attack about the parents coming home and taking away their dog again. I did my best to keep them calm, but I’m completely stressed out.

I asked if they had anything on record or had any pictures that could be used for a lawsuit but I was brushed off.

I don’t know what to do, they can’t leave due to having to pay for rent and GAS while the sister receives an allowance instead. They work two jobs as well I don’t get why they can’t get out.

They’re giving up but I can’t stand to listen to this anymore. Please help‼️
