First off Im in Canada, and I live in Alberta, I bought a newer used car from a dealership in Winnipeg (1300km away)
During the process of buying the vehicle I wanted an oem factory block heater installed on the car as it didnt have one they told me it would be $1800 and I said ok
A couple days later they reviewed all the paperwork with me for financing the car etc, I also put $10,000 cash down on the car
Fast forward, I flew to Winnipeg and picked the car up and drove the 1300km back home, now one week later they left me a voicemail saying, I still owe $1800 for the block heater they installed and that it was never paid
I looked through all of the paperwork assuming it would have been tacked onto the financing of the car and it was not. So do I pay them?
After putting $10,000 down on the car I dont exactly have $1800 to give them, I could put it on my credit card Id just rather not if I legally can just ignore their voicemail
Thanks for any advice
