We currently are trying to terminate a lease, but are unable to. So the bills, and the rent is still under our responsibility. We received a message that the parking lot lights have to be on 24/7, we donât have income at all.. weâre struggling both trying to terminate the lease because the business didnât work out and my mom is not able to declare bankruptcy since the lease is under her name. Anyways, does the light really have to be on outside? Not to mention they also want the sign lights on outside. For all of the other businesses, but the ones paying the bill will be us no one else would be cooperating. Same with the parking lot lights itâs to benefit more the other businesses although theyâre saying itâs for âsafetyâ we had always turned them off before it was never an issue. This isnât from the landlord itâs from the real estate lady. This is what her message reads
âGood Morning- When the Mexican restaurant closed they shut off the common area lights. That switch is in their space for the soffit lights and monument sign. The key that we have no longer works so we need a new key asap. I am happy to drive somewhere to get it, if that is what is needed. Thank you.â
