Workers Comp vs Personal Injury

Post Body

To make a long story short, I am a nurse and at work I was attacked by a patient. While the patient was attacking me, a security guard who is employed by the hospital tackled me to the ground to get them away from me and as a result I tore my ACL and meniscus requiring surgery. Workers comp accepted my claim right away and I just had surgery and am about to start PT. Given these circumstances, am I able to sue the hospital outside of WC or is WC my only remedy? In Illinois.
