Last week, I received a citation for 39:4-32C. This is failure to yield to a pedestrian, but appears to be a leinant subsection of it. It looks like generally used when a pedestrian crosses against a green light.
The fine is only 54 dollars. I'm considering pleading guilty and paying online as no court appearance is required.
My question here - would I have to worry about anything being added ontop of the fine after pleading guilty? Like community service?
I also have an otherwise squeaky clean driving record, so I'm wondering how badly this would impact my auto insurance with Geico.
Any assistance or advice is greatly appreciated.
