Hi there,

Basically the title kinda says it all. I’m considering purchasing a police radar detector and installing in my private non commercial vehicle in the state of Alaska. I haven’t seen anything in Alaskan statutes which prohibits the use of radar detectors in non commercial vehicles, however I’d like to make sure that I’m obeying state law and I also want to confirm there are not restrictions on where I may mount the device. I want to be sure I’m in compliance with state law and following the statutes as written.

If you can provide me with any additional information I should be aware of please let me know.
