Do I have to travel to the court where I received a ticket to plead guilty?

Post Body

I was out of state for a wedding (I'm from Missouri and the wedding was in California). We got pulled over and I got a ticket for not wearing a seatbelt. The ticket does not have a fine - it states that I MUST appear in court on the specified date/time, and that I have no other options.

Go to court on the date, time, and location on the front. Appearing in court is your only option. You can plead guilty or not guilty.

All I want to do is plead guilty, pay whatever fine they charge me, and be done with it. It would be incredibly inconvenient to travel back & incur travel expenses just to plead guilty... what is the most likely outcome and what are my options?
