Just realized I'm due for court in less than 24hrs for a ticket. No lawyer, no money, any advice going in alone?

Post Body

Was late for work and caught a speeding ticket for 15 over in Harris County, Texas a few weeks ago. As I was taking apart my vehicle's AC, found the ticket in the back of the glove compartment and realized the date was set for Monday, the 18th. My account is overdrawn, and I'll have to walk to the courthouse to avoid paying for parking. I have nothing to give as I'm constantly in the red, but if I definitely have to I'm willing to do community service.

Is there anything I should do, say, or take with me to help the case move along effectively? Will I have to accept that there's a high chance of them rescheduling the court date as someone warned me about?
