Hi there

My wife got pulled over today with a friend's car. She was stopped because the sticker is old and the inspection was not done in time.

We both are in the US with an L1 and L2 visa respectively (non resident alien). She just arrived one month ago.

She showed our home country license, because we thought that it was valid for 60 days as she was learning the technicalities of the driving exam here in the US. The officer said it is not a valid license.

So we ended up with 2 court citations. What can we do? Are we in big trouble?
