Questions about restraining order

Hiii! My friend wants to file a restraining order against a fwb but he doesn’t want her to know it’s him filing against her because he concerns about uncontrollable consequences (posting things on social media, ruining his academic life etc). I am wondering if there is any way to keep his information anonymous and confidential when he is asking for a RO.
He is in California. Both are not US citizens. Mostly concerned about online defamation.
