What implications could I have for not reporting an accident to the lessor on a leased vehicle?
Post Body

Title pretty much says it. My leased vehicle was involved in an accident requiring some parts to be replaced, as well as body and paint work. Insurance claim has already been filed with the person's insurance company and estimate/check has been issued. I think I'm supposed to report the accident to the lessor, but are there any implications if I don't? This is my first leased vehicle and I've only had it 4 months, so I don't quite understand if the requirements are different than a purchased vehicle. I'm in NC.
