I am a 17 year old male my friends in the situation are also 17. Me and a my friend one night were bored at home doing nothing so we decided to go to a parking lot to throw football and it’s a well lit up large parking lot with a family dollar and local restaurant and some other stuff it’s a large parking lot and the part that we threw the ball in was empty and this cop came over and asked for me and my friends ID’s we gave it to him and he came back said no throwing the football in the lot so we went home i’m like ok he must’ve been bored but he was super aggresive for no reason with the mannerisms. Fast forward to yesterday me and a friend went back to the same lot and threw ball thinking he wasn’t gonna be there and we’d be fine not two throws in he comes speeding from across the street and says no throwing football i asked him why not he said stuff goes on in the lot and that it isint a playground keep in mind it’s 7pm at night in both of the nights so it’s dark the only place we could go to throw is there and it is dark because daylight savings. There was also a guy walking his dog and a car with tinted windows and all black just sitting in the lot so there was other people he could’ve picked on. My question to reddit is should i stop going should i file a complaint am i doing anything illegal and should i keep going and ignore it.
