Hi, I have recently moved back in with my family and have been having issues with my brother. I have politely confronted him on these issues multiple times to no avail. This all came to a head a couple nights ago when he antagonized my dad purposely with a dog he owns that has fleas.

I confronted him about it and told him I wished he took into consideration more the people who have to live with him. He took great offense to this and tried to get me to physically fight him, where upon I declined. Many times I might add.

Ever since, every time he sees me, he goes out of his way to insult my physical appearance or attempts to get me to fight him. I have never entertained him in these endeavors and have continually told him to leave me alone.

Because of previous experiences with him, having to physically defend myself from him, I am afraid for my safety and I'm unsure what I can do. I have nowhere else to go. Is there anything I can do to protect myself within the legal confines? I'm unsure if I qualify for PPO here in West Virginia.
