My daughter is in pre-school and today she was bit and scratched with at least a dozen different cuts and marks. We discovered that she was still actively bleeding when we picked her up in the car line. When we contacted the teacher through the class app, she had no idea that this had occurred and said that she had to step out, and a substitute was in the room. According to her the substitute said that another student was "a bit handsy" with our daughter.
Tomorrow we're taking her to an urgent care facility to make sure none of the injuries are more serious than they appear and to make certain she has her shots. However, we're uncertain how and if we should proceed legally in relation to the other student or the school, as the other child is only 4 years old, and obviously that makes us hesitate to do anything drastic.
