I bought a replacement airpod thinking I could just return it like I had done back in 2021 when I could do so back than. Also in the check out process there is no policy saying I couldn’t return the replacement airpod if I didn’t need it. Called Apple support and they said I couldn’t return replacement airpod even those I have not opened the package. I find it very deceiving there is no policy saying I can’t return a product. I have read other post saying this a service but again I don’t see a policy saying I can’t return this said service being a replacement of a product. I even had the person said it’s in a policy underneath a MEDIA policy and this is not a media product. I was told I could potentially get a refund if I refused the package and I couldn’t as I was at work. This doesn’t sit right with me that Apple doesn’t have any policy that even a supervisor could find saying this item wasn’t returnable.
I was directed to this https://www.apple.com/legal/sales-support/terms/repair/generalservice/
But I’m not seeing anything saying I can’t return a replacement part that was lost.
