I just found a camera taped to the inside of an AC duct in the master bedroom of the home I'm renting from a property manager. I've been in the home since around March. I've called the police and I'm waiting for them now. I haven't called my property manager. I just walked the rest of the house for other vents and haven't found anything else. I've called the police and hopefully someone will come by soon.
At this point, I have a lot of things rolling through my head. But I don't want to take the wrong actions or say the wrong things. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Edit: Police came, took my information and the information of the property management group. They also took the camera, saying he was being blunt when he said it most likely won't bring anything of information to the investigations group. But it's going to end up in their laps anyways. And hopefully I'll be getting a call or email some time this week.
They suggested I don't contact management because it could tip them off if they have a history of this and make further investigation difficult if the same thing is happening in other homes they manage.
