Hello! This is probably going to sound dumb, but I did make a hell of a blunder and it ended up very poorly for me, I was wondering if I should even bother filing a GFE dispute.
So I went to see a primary care provider for a medical clearance for work, I was unemployed and uninsured at the time.
The last time I got GFEs for being underinsured it was accurate, which was cool.
They offered some elective services that were not necessary for my immediate medical health - think like flu shot - didnt advise me on the cost, and I didnt think about it. It didnt help that later my php told me I should hold off on another test due to the cost since I was uninsured, so I felt safe when they offered other things.
My final bill was 1003 bucks, my GFE was 183 dollars. They were informed I was uninsured, and obviously the provider knew that too as they advised me once on postponing a test til I was.
Do I have any ground to stand on here, or am I SOL?
