School informing my dad who's barely in my life about military school and disciplinary options.

Post Body

Long story as short as i can make it, cops came to my school and arrested me (which feels somewhat questionable but I'm probably just dramatic) for stealing booze with my friends (not extremely proud of it), the school has told my dad I'm "facing expulsion" for that, grades and behavior at school. My mom is at an inpatient rehab and I live with my aunt where I do alternative schooling online because my grades are below average. I have not seen my dad since the beginning of this year, which has been my first time seeing him since 2016. He is also extremely gullible and persuasive and has been his whole life. As the title suggests my school is persuading my extremely manipulatable dad and not relatives who are FAR closer personally physically and emotionally to me (who have made it very apparent that they do not want me going to a military school) about this disciplinary schooling. I have sent my school principal and vice principal a lengthy email politely asking them to stop, however, the school is notoriously awful, ghetto, and to put it simply extremely sketchy, (the schools graded F) which is making me think about pursuing legal action. I've been told that what my school is doing is very illegal, I thought I would ask here before I make a decision as Im only 18 and have never had to make a decision like this.

Thank you for reading this far and please let me know what can be done if anything, I do not know if this deserves legal action or if I'm being dramatic honestly.
