Hotel refuses to check-in, but charge my debit card - USA

Long story short, the hotel staff refuses my check in because I did not bring the photo ID that they want. I did not see this policy when booking the hotel. I then booked another hotel and checked in with the same photo ID. I am going to request for a chargeback from my bank. Can the hotel send you to collections if I win the chargeback?
