Woke up this morning to a nice surprise on my windshield. Got a parking ticket for leaving my vehicle parked on the street for more than 24 hours. I own two cars and drive one more often than the other. I guess this has prompted the police to believe that my vehicle, despite being in good working order, Registered, and insured, is in fact abandoned. I arrived home in the ticketed vehicle at 6:00 pm 10/29 and received the ticket at 3:00 pm 10/30. Only 21 hours. Further, the ticket location is entirely wrong. It states that my car was parked 2 blocks away from where I was actually parked. Do I have grounds to get this thrown out in traffic court? Thanks in advance.
