Legality of selling audio of me reading stories?

I want to include a service on my onlyfans where I can make bespoke audio recordings of myself reading stories of the fan's choice, per their request. I know fair use doesn't cover me making and selling my own recordings of audio books without the copyright owner's permission. But what if I am hired to provide a service, where I am simply reading to a client? Is it legal to make this type of recording if I am not producing it with the intention to sell?
