Close friend disclosed they are committing credit cards fraud and identity theft against their father. What should I do?
Post Body

This friend is slowly digging themselves deeper and deeper into criminal charges and felonies. They have basically admitted to opening up atleast one credit card in their fathers name and have been running the credit up. Possibly more than one card but I only have a definitive verbal on the one. They try to buy visa gift cards with this credit card to spend thinking it’s less traceable but they are still fraudulently using a card they opened and their father has no idea they have. They also help their father with unemployment and stole $500 from his account by switching banking information to theirs. If they can do this to their own father I’m sure they could do it to me or other close friends. They are almost 30, no job, and survive off of other peoples money and never want to grow up.

I feel like it’s time for a wake up call but I do still care about them. How can I go about this and where do I even start reporting this? I kind of want it to be anonymous if possible.
