TX - No contact Grandparent is threatening Grandparents Rights
Post Body

Hey all, my wife and I have been no contact with my MIL for about 6 months or so now for personal reasons. My son is 2 years old and has only seen them (MIL and husband) a handful of times before going no contact.

We cut her off because she is manipulative, bipolar, and we believe she is a narcissist. She is also a former drug abuser and alcoholic who has caused a lot of trauma in my wife's life.

My wife has blocked her on her phone and all social media. I have kept her unblocked in case of an emergency but she reached out trying to contact us and get to our son. Today, she messaged me claiming she has grandparents rights that she will try to use to get our son.

My wife and I are married, with two incomes and a mortgage. Neither of us are dead or in jail.

Does she have any grounds for this? If so, what can we do about this? We don't want her around our son.
