I'm applying for the Canadian Armed Forces, specifically for infantry.
I am diagnosed ADHD, and my family doctor has been asked to fill out a simple form regarding medication (which im not on), and questions regarding the disorder.
He says he is legally obligated to send all documents pertaining to my psychiatric history, despite not specifically being asked for it by the military.
And although I have a recent written clean bill of health from a psychologist, and passed the militaries psych exam, I had issues with depression and anxiety when I was a child and am worried this could effect my application.
Could someone shine some light on how best to go about this?
Much appreciated!
