Hello. I live in the state of South Carolina. I have been married for 1.5 years. I would like to get a divorce but my spouse does NOT due to he does not believe in divorce. He has changed since marriage, since being married my life has been HELL including my finances (he's not contributing to ANYTHING in the house). In the past, he has called the police on me before. They have advised him that I can not kick or evict him out of our martial home. Question: If I move to another residence, does he have the right to move into my new residence?
In the state of South Carolina, you must be separated for one year before filling for divorce. Legal separation does not count in this state. Please be kind..
