Post Body

temporary orders were granted and not agreed with.

a de novo was asked for within the 3 days and granted.

the de novo hearing was missed, and the temporary orders stood.

at the final divorce hearing, the judge decided to hear the de novo, even though it was after 30 days, and the hearing was missed. this changed the outcome of the divorce decree.

a de novo has to be held within 30 days.

why would a judge decide to ignore this? do judges make their own rules?
